In 1970, I took a $30 used camera on a $5 airplane ride
and made my first aerial photographs of Ocean City MD. In
1972, I took a more expensive camera (about $200) on a longer
ride , and photographed Ocean City from the Ocean City
Inlet to the Maryland / Delaware state line. |
| In contrast to the Ocean City Coast, the Delaware
Coastline from Fenwick Island to the Indian River Inlet is
dominated by single family homes and small multi-unit
structures, interrupted occasionally by larger complexes
like Fenwick Towers, and sea Colony, and several tracts of
State Parks, preserving dunes and beach front from
development With seemingly unending activity to the South and a very lay-back feel to the North, you might wonder which is better. I guess that depends on where you own property or vacation. |
